Lounging at the airport

Here we go again. Another financial conundrum. Don’t really have to go to an airport lounge. It’s quieter in there for sure but the food options are sparse and don’t look that great. The “airport food” and availability of restaurants in Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok are actually quite good, better than what’s inside the lounge. But then I should be utilizing this benefit…. I’ve already paid membership for this lounge access (technically it’s included as part of my credit card benefit).

So I go inside an airport lounge. Oooh. Fancy lounge. Actually, it’s not that fancy. And the food is pretty basic. But it’s one of those situations where I don’t want to pay additional for something better (food at the airport) when there’s something available I’ve already paid for (lounge access).

So here I am, sitting at the airport.
